About Davidsonville Nursery
Located at 3659 Riva Rd, Davidsonville, MD 21035, Davidsonville Nursery operates as a plant nursery serving Davidsonville in Maryland. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Davidsonville, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Maryland, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

Davidsonville is in Maryland, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Davidsonville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Maryland's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Never buying from them again and you shouldn’t either. Wood doesn’t burn, I called and asked them to address it and was ignored. Stay away.

Stupidly, I ignored the other review about bad firewood since it was two years ago. Purchased half a cord of firewood, confirming on the phone that it was seasoned at least a year. Just finished stacking and it is GREEN. Of the pieces that aren't green, some were beginning to rot. Optimistically tried to light three little kindling sized sticks - half a dozen sheets of newspaper and a few pieces of fatwood didn't do the job. Amazingly, even a MAP gas torch failed to ignite the thumb-diameter sticks. They're cheaper than Homestead Gardens, but you get what you pay for. Maybe I'll be able to burn this wood next winter.

This place was great it had reasonable prices for delivery of firewood to be delivered at my residence. I plan on using them again for another delivery this year.

Bought a half cord of "seasoned" hardwood here. Crap won't burn.
